Visakhapatnam Fire Accident: A fierce fire broke out at an HPCL plant at Malkapuram near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. All the employees working in HPCL plant have been evacuated safely. Fire extinguishers were called by the local administration to extinguish the fire on the spot.

As of now, no employees are reported dead or injured in the HPCL plant.

The local administration here is investigating what caused the fire. A video of the fire was shared on social media. The massive flames and smoke in the HPCL plant are shown in the video.

It is said by the authorities that the investigation shows that the fire was triggered by an explosion in a pipeline in the Crude Distillation Unit (CDU) of HPCL. The CDU is currently closed after the accident.
